Getting to Slovenia and Lake Bled couldn't be easier. Bled is just:
- A 15 minute drive from Ljubljana airport
- 30 minutes from Ljubljana centre
- 30 minutes from the Austrian border
- 1 hour drive from the Italian border
By Air:
- Ryanair fly daily to Trieste in Italy, from London Stansted which is just a 90 minute drive to Bled.
- Ryanair fly daily to Klagenfurt in Austria, from London Stansted which is just a 1 hour drive to Bled.
- Ryanair fly daily to Graz in Austria, from London Stansted which is just a 2 1/2 hour drive to Bled.

Driving:
- If coming from Italy then cross at the border near Trieste and follow the motorway all the way to Ljubljana, then head north following signs for Kranj and Austria until you see the exit for Bled.
- If coming from Austria, then cross the border through the Karawanke tunnel (toll required) and head south towards Ljubljana until you see the exit for Bled.
- If coming from Hungary, then cross the border and head for Maribor, go straight past Maribor and on to Ljubljana, then head north towards Kranj and Austria until you see the exit for Bled.
Motorway toll in Slovenia:
